New Coordinator – CEDEJ Khartoum: Dr. Luisa Arango

We are very pleased to announce that our colleague Dr. Luisa Arango is now acting as the Coordinator of CEDEJ Branch in Khartoum. Dr Luisa Arango is an anthropologist. She has developed her research on urban questions linked to environmental knowledge, natures and resources as land and drinking water. She has been working in Sudan, mainly in Khartoum, since 2008 and collaborating in collective and interdisciplinary projects, including CEDEJ Khartoum. As a former associated professor at the University of Strasbourg, she is interested in the teaching and learning process. Jean-Nicolas Bach a coordonné le CEDEJ Khartoum entre octobre 2016 et août 2020. Ses recherches portent sur les problématiques liées à la démocratisation, aux situations autoritaires et aux différentes formes de violences politiques qui s’y exercent. Jean-Nicolas Bach coordinated  CEDEJ Khartoumfrom  October 2016 until August 2020 . His researches about democratization, authoritarian situations, and related forms of political violence.
