Jean-Nicolas Bach coordinated CEDEJ Khartoum from October 2016 until August 2021. His research have been oriented towards democratization, authoritarian situations, and related forms of political violence. He is coordinating the Observatory of East Africa, in collaboration with the French Institute for international Relations, the French Research Institutes in the region (CFEE Addis Ababa, IFRA Nairobi, CEDEJ Cairo) and Les Afriques dans le Monde-Sciences Po Bordeaux: http://www.sciencespo.fr/ceri/fr/content/observatoire-de-l-afrique-de-l-est.
 
 
 
 

Khalid ElRasheed: Chauffeur Démarcheur

Working with CEDEJ Khartoum’s team since 2011, Khalid is our Liaison officer in charge of logistics and relations with Sudanese administrations. 

Research Assistant: Ms. Wafa Adam

Wafa Adam, graduated in foreign language and a professor of French, has been a research assistant in CEDEJ Khartoum for two years, assisting our researchers and students in the field (interviews, transcriptions, translations). Ms. Tala Fadul is our new intern. She has been in CEDEJ Khartoum since August 2020 and shall stay with us until December. She has come to Sudan after her graduation in Sciences Po Paris (Master1) in order to initiate to research activities and fieldwork (Health public policies), before starting her second year of Master.  She can be reached at: tala.fadul@sciencespo.fr
