Economic reforms in Sudan
Harry Cross has published a report with the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung examining roads to economic reform during the Sudan’s political transition. Harry is critical of many of the policies that have been implemented by the Transitional Government since 2019. These policies have been advocated and endorsed by the IMF, which Harry is also critical of. The report is available in German, and an Arabic version is forthcoming.
Harry is an Assistant Professor at Prince Mohammad bin Fahd University in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He is currently researching economic and financial aspects of Sudan’s political transition, and the role of external actors. He is very happy to hear from anyone wishing to exchange thoughts and research on these topics.
