Abstract:
The aim of this presentation is to outline the objectives and adaptations of the ‘Landscape of the Sudanese Revolution’ platform, and to show the work in progress on the two focuses of the platform: Mapping and Dictionary.
Biography of the Speaker:
Alice Franck is an Assistant professor in Geography at University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne/PRODIG. Her works focuses on Urban Development and in particular land conflicts and social housing in Khartoum. Since 2020 she has co-coordinated with Barbara Casciarri on the programme ANR Thawra-Sur: Thinking Alternative worlds across Sudanese Revolution where she is responsible for the cartographic aspect of the digital platform.
